TRAVELLING TO AFRICA

During these trips with our students, the teacher can also practices or reviews other vocabulary. Now, we are travelling to Africa to learn about animals. TASK 1: GOING ON A SAFARI Tell your students that they are going to go on a safari to see different animals and how they live. After they watch the video, the teacher can talk with them about how a safari is, if they see difference with a zoo, if they think that the animals live better, etc. In this activity the students will practice listening skills and it would be for kids from 5 - 6 grade of primary. TRAVELLING TO NEW YORK

Our next trip is New York, the city that never sleeps. To introduce these activities, the teacher can start asking the students if they know something about New York or if they have been there. TASK 1: TOURIST GUIDE The first thing that we are going to do in New York, is to take a bus tour around the whole city. We can do an interactive reading with tablets or chromebooks. At the beginning, they can reading together (by turns) the information of New York city and then the students will have to complete some exercises of fill in the gaps or answer questions to see if they have understood the tour. When they have finished the activities they can press the bottom finish to self correcting it. We are still travelling around the world and our plane has arrived in China. As a teacher, we can introduce the topic with a question such as if they know something about China, about its culture, food, sports, etc. TASK 1: VISITING THE GREAT WALL OF CHINA In this task the students will practice listening skills. It is an activity from kids of  4 - 6 grade of primary. The first thing that they are going to visit in china, is the Great Wall. WHAT DO WE NEED TO START OUR JOURNEY?

It is necessary to know the tastes and hobbies of the students in order to help in their development. The topic of travelling is usually one in which students are very interested in. To introduce these topic, the teacher should ask the students a few questions about traveling such as: - Do you like travelling? - How often do you travel? - What are the important things that you need in a trip? - How  can you go to that place? Well, now the teacher will explain the kids that they are going through an amazing adventure.
